How we can improve our community by understanding the forces behind sexual exploitation. See what people in Worcester are doing to combat sexual exploitation and find out ways to help.

Join us for a presentation followed by a panel discussion featuring:

  • Nicole Bell, Survivor and Advocate
  • Karen Riley-McNary, YWCA Domestic Violence Services
  • Heidi-Sue LeBoeuf, Pathways for Change
  • Dr. Marianne Sarkis, Clark University
  • Athena Haddon, Spectrum Health Systems
  • Lt. Joseph Scampini, Worcester Police Department 

Members of local businesses, Main South neighbors, students, and community agency workers are all welcome!

City Council Public Health & Human Services Committee will discuss WAASE and the problem of prostitution

The next City Council Public Health and Human Services Committee will convene a meeting on Wednesday October 8 at 6:00 pm in the Esther Howland (South) Chamber.

On the agenda are two items related to WAASE and the “problem of prostitution”.
